Committee Member Experience

The Autism Commission on Quality’s (ACQ) essential accreditation decisions are made by independent committees comprised of experienced experts and diverse representatives involved in receiving, delivering, supporting, and funding applied behavior analysis services for autism. The ACQ Standards Committee may have up to 21 members and is responsible for developing and approving accreditation standards, making committee appointments, and developing policies and procedures that support ACQ’s accreditation activities. The ACQ Accreditation Committee may have up to 15 members and has the power and authority to make essential accreditation determinations on behalf of the Autism Commission on Quality (ACQ) by reviewing blinded applications for accreditation, providing interpretative guidance to the review team, and determining the outcomes of investigations into accredited organizations.
