Boston, MA—The Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) has hired Abigail Blackman as an accreditation reviewer for its Autism Commission on Quality (ACQ).

Blackman brings 10 years’ experience consulting with autism service provider organizations on training and systems change. She’s also worked with families receiving applied behavior analysis (ABA). Most recently, Blackman served as senior manager of product and customer success at CentralReach. In addition to her position at ACQ, Blackman is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University. She holds a PhD from the University of Kansas as well as a BCBA-D certification.

Our industry is sharpening its focus on quality—and ACQ is at the forefront,” said Blackman. “I know what families need and deserve, and I also understand the challenges autism service providers face in delivering quality ABA. I’m really excited to bring those insights to my new role as ACQ accreditation reviewer.”
